Abstract. In this paper, some innovative concepts regarding –
-contractive conditions are introduced by using
-cyclic
-admissible mappings in metric-like spaces. In complete metric-like spaces, fixed point theorems are established for the newly introduced mappings. The current findings are also helpful to obtain fixed point theorems for cyclic mappings. Further, the consequences of the above results are described by several corollaries. An application of these results is show-cased through the existence of a theorem for solutions to a specific system of functional equations appearing in dynamic programming. Moreover, relevant examples are presented to validate and support the current investigations.
