Abstract. A four-person game the Target, the Missile, the Defender, and the Asset (TMDA) is formulated. Target’s objective is to reach the Asset. The Asset launches a Missile to defend itself against the Target’s onslaught. The Defender wishes to intercept the Missile prior to its arrival at the Target. Each participant is trying to minimize or maximize the miss to his opponent without interfering with the general goal of interception of the Asset by the Target or avoidance of interception of the Asset, respectively. An approach to the solution is presented. A solution is derived for linear system and quadratic criterion.
