Abstract
In this note, we introduce the concept of compatible mappings for n-tupled coincidence points and study the existence and uniqueness of fixed points of operator F:X^n→X, when n is even and X is partially ordered complete metric space. Related examples have been also cited to validity our work. Presented theorems are generalizations of the recent fixed point theorems due to Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham [20], V. Lakshmikantham and L. Ciric [21], B. S. Choudhury et al. [3-4] etc. and include several recent developments.
