Abstract

In this work, we study of the solvability and the existence of optimal controls of some partial functional integrodifferential equations with classical Cauchy initial condition in Banach spaces. We assume that the linear part admits a resolvent operator in the sense of Grimmer. Firstly, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions. Secondly, we prove the existence of optimal controls for the integrodifferential equation. An example is also given to illustrate the main results.
