Abstract. In this paper, the existence of distributional solutions of an elliptic system (loosely related to mean field games systems) is proved. The solutions belong to the Sobolev space $W_0^{1,q}(\Omega)$ ; in some cases q=2, in some cases q<2 and even q=1.
