Abstract. In this paper, a generalized strong operator equilibrium problem is considered in Hausdorff topological vector spaces. An existence result for solutions of the generalized strong operator equilibrium problem is obtained in the compact and noncomapct setting by employing the Minty type lemma, the KKM theorem, and the coercive condition.
